AADA was founded in 2005 with the main aim of providing quality health and social services, professional capacity building, and promotion of equal access of communities to developmental and humanitarian services. AADA also responds to the needs of the Afghan people in accordance with the principles and fundamentals of civil society organizations. Quality improvement, geographic expansion, diversification of funding, institutional development, gender equity, women empowerment and community development are among the main strategic directions reflected in the “AADA Strategic Plan”. In its long life AADA has operated in 33 provinces of Afghanistan and has successfully implemented more than 125 health and health-related projects, including 28 education/capacity development projects. AADA is a multi-donor funded organization in partnership with the Government of Afghanistan and other international donors including USAID, World Bank, Global Fund and UN agencies.

Job Summary

    • The CEFC Facilitator will be responsible for implementing and managing a system for collecting, analyzing, and responding to feedback from the communities we serve;
    • Establish and strengthen mechanisms to enhance organization’s efforts for community engagement and effective community engagement feedback mechanisms (CEFM).
    • Train the frontline staff members on the importance of CEFCs and how to effectively communicate and manage the feedback they receive from communities.
    • Conduct regular supportive supervisory visits to CEFM in order to observe the progress of the project implementation and follow up on the findings
    • Conduct community meetings and FGDs regarding health & nutrition to ensure that communities insight are regularly collected and addressed.

The AADA Jobs in Kabul, (Community Engagement Facilitator) will have responsibilities that include:

    • Maintaining a proper and accurate record of the project documents
    • Ensure that feedback received through the system is properly documented, analyzed, and responded to promptly.
    • Liaise and communicate project issues with provincial stakeholders
    • Establish and maintain coordination with key influencers, religious leaders and community elders.
    • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting of the project activities, data on regular basis and sharing with the project coordinator prior to the deadlines.
    • Providing regular feedback on collected data and regular tracking of the progress to the project teams.
    • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirment

    • University Degree in social science, health or nutrition sectors.
    • At least one year experience working in health & nutrition mobilizer community engagement, feedback mechanisms, monitoring or a related field with NGOs/INGOs.
    • Fluency in spoken Pashto, Dari are required. Having excellent working knowledge of written and spoken English.
    • Understanding and respect for local culture, traditions, and social norms is essential for trust building with communities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant applications (e.g Kobo) for data collection and reporting.
    • Have effective communication and problem-solving skills
