Job Summary

The Automotive Quality Control Specialist is responsible for physically checking and inspecting the overall vehicle parts and equipment of the transport section in the warehouse compound, taking care of the quality control and inspection issues for the parts.

The Automotive Quality Control Specialist will have responsibilities that include:

• Ensure the quality of transport-related spare parts and equipment through inspection, control, and management.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure quality control for requested spare parts or inventory.
• Coordinate transportation-related supplies with Transport, vendors, and procurement in a proper manner.
• Confirm that the delivered products match the purchase request specifications by reconciling received goods/items with the purchase request or invoice.
• Work with the warehouse technical staff to test or verify the product's quality.
• Assist the workshop team and inventory officer in developing and updating the inventory record system on a daily basis.
• Proper inspection of vehicles with transport and procurement teams is necessary according to the plan.
• Create weekly and monthly plans, and monthly progress reports and distribute them to the department's head.
• Assist the team responsible for buying transportation and buying the required spare parts for the company's workshop.

Job Requirment

• Accomplished an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive mechanical spare parts is required.
• Skilled in barcoding, controlling, and verifying automotive spare parts management.
• An understanding of supply chain procedures.
• Skilled in both communication and negotiation.
• The ability to speak Dari, Pashto, and English.
• A well-balanced interpersonal relationship.
• Data must be read, interpreted, and transcribed to ensure accurate records.
• Knowledge of how to use diagnostic equipment.
• Experience in heavy equipment, including diesel and petrol mechanics, knowledge of diesel engines, or willingness to learn on the job.
