Job Summary

• Cleaner is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning work at the assigned locations.

 


 

The AWCC Jobs in Kabul, (Cleaner) will have responsibilities that include:

• Clean the assigned premises, including corridors, rooms, offices, and all parts like floors, walls, furniture, doors, windows, and appliances.
• Scrub the bathrooms and bathroom fixtures, including changing towels on a daily basis.
• Supply of all cleaning supplies in the bathrooms and kitchens.
• Check all fixtures and fittings, including, water closets, sinks, wash basins, water heaters, water supply systems, drain systems, floor trip, etc. to ensure proper functioning. In case of any problem, the responsible supervisor is to be called for repair.
• Check all power supply systems and heating equipment, including lights, outlets, sockets, and any electrical devices, supply of fuel-to-fuel heaters, etc to be functioning properly, otherwise, the responsible supervisor is to be called for repair.
• Empty all garbage baskets in the rooms, saloons, corridors, and kitchens.
• Hand over all personal belongings whenever find in the corridors, classes, and yards to the right person or to the supervisor that he can hand over.
• Be on-time, honest, trustful, and have a sense of humor and focus on hygiene issues.
• Efficient use of equipment, and materials, and prevent misuse and damage of appliances and materials.
• Help others in moving/carrying some baggage, supplies, appliances, furniture, etc.
• To respect office roles and regulations, respect the supervisors, staff members, faculty, and other personnel.

Job Requirment

• To be literate. Preferably a 12th-grade graduate.
  Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.
  Fluent (oral and written) in Dari and Pashto.
