The Chief Finance Officer will have responsibilities that include:

• The CFO will lead the bank’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and Shariah compliance requirements through effective planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• The role includes overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and AAOIFI standards, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting transparent disclosures.
• The CFO will collaborate with Shariah governance teams to ensure all financial activities and profit-sharing mechanisms comply with Islamic banking principles.
• The position requires managing regulatory compliance, coordinating audits, and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
• The CFO will supervise treasury operations, liquidity management, capital adequacy, and investment strategies while maintaining compliance with Islamic financial practices.
• The role also focuses on cost optimization, financial efficiency, and capital management through reporting and stress-testing processes.
• Additionally, the CFO will lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while promoting professionalism, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirment

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Islamic Banking, or a related field, while a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CIPA, CPA, CA, ACCA, CIBAFI, or CFA are required for the position.
• Applicants must have strong knowledge of Islamic finance principles, AAOIFI standards, and Islamic banking regulations.
• The role requires at least 10 years of financial leadership experience, including 5 years in a senior finance position within an Islamic bank or financial institution.
• Candidates should understand Islamic banking products, financial instruments, and related financial practices.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial analysis, budgeting, and modeling skills are essential.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, integrity, accountability, and commitment to Islamic finance values are required.
