AWEC actively advocates and raises awareness about women's and children's rights in Islam. Our core activities focus on supporting women, reducing and eventually eliminating violence, and increasing women's participation in the home and society.

The Community Health Trainer will have responsibilities that include:

Job Requirment
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery, Community Health, or another related health discipline is required. Certification in First Aid from a recognized institution will be considered a strong asset.
- A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in community health, health promotion, hygiene awareness, or first aid training.
- Previous experience in delivering community-based health education and training through participatory approaches within NGO, humanitarian, or development programs is highly preferred.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with women, vulnerable groups, and local communities.
- Strong report writing, record-keeping, and documentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to project implementation areas.
- Fluency in Dari and Pashto is required, while a working knowledge of English is considered an advantage.
