BRAC started its first international operation by venturing into Afghanistan in 2002. BRAC Afghanistan currently operates in 14 out of 34 provinces with programmes in Education, Health, Capacity Development, and Citizens’ Charter.

Job Summary

• The Partner NGOs Consortium Manager is responsible to plan, develop, supervise and administer ASLC project implemented by Afghan local NGOs in Afghanistan. 

The Consortium Manager - Kabul will have responsibilities that include:

• Managing of consortium between BRAC and Local NGOs and acting as point of contact in the project team for partner project coordinator and other department of BRAC Afghanistan.
• Ensuring education project activities are delivered as per agreement by Afghan local NGOs on time and within budget.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with partner NGOs, ensuring effective communication and mutual understanding for project implementation.
• Maintaining stakeholder relationship between BRAC Afghanistan, NGO officials, and Ministry of Education of Afghanistan.
• Contributing to meetings and workshops in designing and resource development of the project with BRAC Afghanistan staff and NNGOs officials 
• Organizing different types of training, workshops and meetings for NGO officials and staff for capacity development. 
• Support partners in strengthening their organizational capacities, including financial management, monitoring and evaluation, and programmatic effectiveness aligned with BRAC standards. 
• Collect lessons learned and best practices to strengthening the project activities/procedures. 
• Ensuring organizational mission, vision and values in every works/activities of the project and ensure team building approach to strengthen the coordination.
• Conduct regular site visits(50% office time) and field assessments to monitor project activities and provide technical assistance or guidance to partner NGOs.
• Ensuring timely submission of financial documents to BRAC finance department and disbursement of the monthly budget to NGOs and provide materials to NGOs on time. 
• Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the program by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
• Responsible to ensure NNGOs team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Requirment

• Speaking and writing ability in English
•  Fluency and good communication skills particularly in local language (Dari/Pashtu) 
•   Editing/reviewing/translating and presenting Training Materials, manuals etc.
•  Being Honest, Responsible and in a good health condition, Not having any criminal record
•  Good command in computer 
•  Ability to work in team and good time management skill, and willing to field visit
