Asia Community Development Organization (ACDO) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2014 and registered with the Government of Afghanistan under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy with a mission to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the vulnerable, at-risk, and underserved people throughout the country. ACDO responds to the needs of deprived and marginalized rural and urban communities by managing and utilizing the available scarce resources in a well-managed, efficient, effective, transparent, and dignified manner to enhance resilience, boost access to education, health services, and infrastructure, ensure food and livelihood security, and promote social protection and inclusion. ACDO has an active presence in most parts of the country and intends to expand its operations to the remaining provinces as well, as to transform itself into a leading and developed organization that will deliver to and supports a large number of people who have been affected by the long-protracted and sudden on-set emergencies in Afghanistan. Key responsibilities of Cook & Cleaner:

• Prepare meals, beverages, and refreshments for staff, visitors, and official events.
• Maintain food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and proper storage of supplies.
• Clean offices, meeting areas, washrooms, guesthouse, and assigned spaces.
• Manage cleaning materials, kitchen items, and basic inventory records.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, and organizational compliance standards.
• Support meetings, events, and visitor arrangements when required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirment

• Skilled in preparing local meals while maintaining food quality and hygiene standards.
• Knowledgeable in sanitation, cleaning, and safe food handling practices.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organized work areas.
• Demonstrates honesty, reliability, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
• Fluent in Dari or Pashto with strong service-oriented behavior.
