Key responsibilities of Coordinator – Communication (Regional) [Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar]:
Job Responsibilities:
- Regional Communication Management: Implement regional communication strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, brand identity, and messaging across product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Media Relations & Public Affairs: Build and maintain networks with local media outlets, coordinate press conferences, draft press releases, and monitor media coverage to prepare performance analysis reports.
- Internal Communications: Facilitate clear information flow between regional offices and headquarters, drafting internal newsletters, staff announcements, and change management updates to boost employee engagement.
- Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and business partners while managing regional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and outreach programs.
- Event Management: Plan and execute regional events, brand activations, and sponsorship activities, handling logistics, speech preparation, and promotional materials in coordination with vendors.
- Digital Communications: Oversee regional social media and digital channels, ensuring local content is accurate, engaging, and compliant with corporate brand guidelines.
- Crisis Communication & Issues Management: Monitor regional reputation risks, supporting headquarters in delivering timely, coordinated crisis responses when necessary.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking: Track communication KPIs, manage campaign budgets, and prepare regular analytical reports on media impact, event outcomes, and stakeholder outreach.
Job Requirment
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, media management, or marketing.
- Prior work experience within Telecommunications, FMCG, or large corporate environments is highly preferred.
- Language Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal fluency in English, Dari, and Pashto.
- Technical Skills & Expertise:
- Strong media relations, networking, and public relations capabilities.
- Proven event planning, execution, and project management expertise.
- Proficient in digital communications, corporate social media management, and online brand presence.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities.
