Key responsibilities of Electrician:

1. System Design & Improvement: Plan, execute, and upgrade electrical systems and installations across the bank's head office and all branch locations.
2. Installation & Compliance Coordination: Lead and oversee construction, installation, maintenance, documentation, and testing tasks to guarantee full compliance with specified bank requirements.
3. Technical Drawings & Standards Review: Review and prepare technical schematics, electrical specifications, and layout diagrams to ensure every installation meets recognized standards and operational rules.
4. Power Infrastructure Planning: Plan the layout for power generation equipment, distribution networks, transmission setups, and substations.
5. Generator Wiring & Operations: Apply technical knowledge of generator wiring systems to support regular maintenance and assist in operating (turning on/off) generators at the head office.
6. Generator Operation & Troubleshooting: Inspect, run, maintain, and troubleshoot diesel generators to secure dependable backup power during electrical outages.
7. Preventive Maintenance for Generators: Execute routine preventive care for power generators, including fluid and filter changes, coolant verification, battery assessments, and load testing.
8. Performance Monitoring & Major Repairs: Keep track of generator operational performance and coordinate extensive servicing or major repairs when required.
9. Logkeeping & Compliance Records: Keep precise logs of generator servicing, fuel usage, and routine schedules to maintain compliance with established maintenance guidelines.
10. HVAC Systems Maintenance: Install, inspect, repair, and troubleshoot air conditioning and HVAC equipment across bank premises.
11. AC Unit Care: Carry out preventive upkeep on air conditioning units by cleaning air filters, monitoring refrigerant levels, inspecting wiring, and maximizing energy efficiency.
12. Server Room & Critical Area Cooling: Monitor cooling setups in server rooms and data centers to prevent downtime for IT systems and critical bank infrastructure.

Job Requirment

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering and maintenance.
• Banking Knowledge: Basic understanding of bank operations across different operational areas.
• Language & Communication Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Afghan local languages (Dari/Pashto) as well as English.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to travel to provincial branches whenever required.
• Personal Attributes: High accuracy, professionalism, and objectivity in executing assigned General Support (GS) duties.
