The Electrician will have responsibilities that include:
- Inspect electrical systems, identify faults, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Operate and maintain AC systems up to 400V and DC systems up to 48V.
- Conduct electrical tests on generators, control panels, UPS units, batteries, rectifiers, and other equipment using appropriate testing instruments.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure electrical equipment remains in good working condition.
- Review work plans, determine required materials and equipment, and complete assigned tasks according to schedule.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in generators, transformers, AMF panels, distribution boards, and related electrical systems.
- Use electrical tools and equipment correctly and in accordance with safety requirements.
- Apply cost-effective approaches when carrying out maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain working knowledge of generator systems, AC/DC electrical systems, and other relevant technical areas.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and operational requirements at all times.
- Maintain professional cooperation with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Participate in technical training and continuously seek opportunities to strengthen professional skills.
- Undertake additional duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Job Requirment
- Minimum literacy is required; applicants with a Class 12 certificate will be given preference.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluency in Dari or Pashto is required, while English proficiency is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of job-related tools, equipment, and work procedures.
- Physically capable of performing the required duties.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and work ethic.
- Maintains honesty, integrity, and professional conduct.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to travel to other provinces and work overtime when required.
- Commitment to following all company rules, policies, and procedures.
