The Logistics Associate will have responsibilities that include:
- Plan, manage, and oversee warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and organized storage of commodities and supplies.
- Monitor the receiving, dispatching, recording, and reporting of goods to maintain accurate inventory and transaction records.
- Manage stock control processes, including physical verification, discrepancy identification, and compliance with warehouse procedures.
- Prepare operational reports and statistics to support effective planning, decision-making, and performance improvement.
- Ensure proper safeguarding, quality control, and preservation of commodities according to established standards.
- Review warehouse capacity, optimize layouts, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for efficient services.
- Supervise warehouse staff, identify training needs, and support team development to maintain high performance standards.
Job Requirment
- Completion of secondary education is required; a relevant post-secondary certificate is an advantage.
- Minimum of six years’ progressive experience in warehouse management, inventory control, logistics, and commodity handling.
- Proven ability in stock management, reconciliation, team supervision, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and local languages (Pashto/Dari).
- Experience managing logistics databases, tracking shipments, pipeline information, and inventory records is preferred.
- Familiarity with third-party contracts, documentation, contract implementation, and related administrative processes.
- Experience in budget monitoring, reporting, and supporting efficient supply chain operations is desirable.
