Key responsibilities of Media Officer:

    Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:

    • Media & Digital Channel Management: Execute media strategies alongside relevant departments while maintaining social media platforms, scheduling posts, and managing community engagement through prompt responses to messages and comments.
    • Multimedia Content Production: Capture high-quality photography and videography for corporate events, marketing campaigns, product launches, and community programs. Produce graphic designs, posters, newsletters, web visuals, and professionally edited short or motion graphic videos.
    • Brand Compliance & Public Relations: Ensure all published media aligns with the Bank’s brand guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal approval workflows. Maintain an updated database of media contacts and communication archives.
    • Reputation & Crisis Communication Support: Assist authorized spokespersons in addressing press inquiries and managing potential reputational risks across media channels.
    • Analytics & Performance Reporting: Track digital channels performance and generate monthly reports detailing social media reach, engagement metrics, and audience activity.
    • Internal Communications: Design and distribute internal updates, employee announcements, digital newsletters, and corporate communications as directed by supervisors.

Job Requirment

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
    • Professional Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in media, journalism, photography, videography, graphic design, motion editing, or digital marketing. Direct background in the banking, financial, corporate, or development sectors is highly advantageous.

    Technical & Professional Competencies:

    • Design & Editing Software: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
    • Multimedia Production: Solid practical expertise in operating modern digital cameras, photography, videography, still visual design, and professional video editing.
    • Digital & Social Media Management: Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms effectively and utilize modern digital tools for content creation.
    • Language & IT Proficiency: Excellent spoken and written command of English and Dari or Pashto (knowledge of additional local languages is an asset), alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Soft Skills & Adaptability: Strong interpersonal communication, report-writing skills, and the capacity to deliver high-quality output under pressure and within tight deadlines.
