The Moore Global network traces its origins back to a small auditing, tax consulting and insolvency practice set up by Harold Moore and Albert Partridge in 1907.
Moore, Partridge & Co occupied a building not far from the Guildhall in the heart of the City of London, evolving steadily until the outbreak of war in 1914. By the end of the conflict, Albert Partridge had left and the business entered a new phase of growth.
In 1918 Harold Moore formed Moore, Stephens & Co with John Robinson Stephens, who had managed the firm while his new business partner served in the Royal Flying Corps in the First World War.
The name was shortened to Moore Stephens in 1986, then evolved again when the global network rebranded as Moore in 2019.
Job Summary
The Moore Jobs in Kabul. (Project Manager: Business Expansion Initiative) will have responsibilities that include:
- Strategic Input: Provide strategic input to the Team Leader for decision-making and
- project direction.
- Task Delegation: Manage task delegation and follow-up on behalf of the Team
Leader to ensure efficient project execution.
Strategic Oversight Committee Support:
- Committee Liaison: Act as the liaison between the project team and the program
- leadership and consultants.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, action plans and
- documentation as needed..
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures as directed by
the Strategic Oversight Committee.
Project Management Oversight:
- Project Tracking: Oversee the tracking of project timelines, deliverables, and
- milestones.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in
- collaboration with the Team Leader.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of project resources
- Coordination of Project Activities Including but not Limited to:
- Assist the Team Leader in strategizing and implementing tailored training programs
- and business acceleration programs for women-led enterprises.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, ensuring materials and resources are
- available.
- Facilitate mentorship pairings and manage apprenticeship opportunities.
- Organize feedback sessions and compile suggestions for program improvements.
- Support the organization of networking events and industry partner meetings.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders and follow up on collaborative opportunities.
- Collect and manage data for the monitoring and evaluation framework.
- Prepare reports on project progress and impact assessments.
- Coordinate informational sessions and workshops on inclusive employment.
- Develop a plan for engaging with local communities to ensure inclusive benefits of
- business expansion and support the implementation of the plan.
- Lead the implementation of community outreach activities.
- The Project Manager will report to the Team Leader and play a crucial role in bridging the
- gap between the project team, the Team Leader. He/She will ensure that the project adheres
- to its goals, maintains high-quality standards, and engages effectively with all stakeholders.
- Regular communication, detailed reporting, and proactive problem-solving are key
- responsibilities of this role.
Job Requirment
- International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and
- implementation, preferably with a focus on women’s empowerment, economic
- development, or related fields.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in coordinating training programs and community engagement
- initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Language: Proficiency in English and Dari is required. Knowledge of Pashto is
- highly desirable.
