Job Summary

• The employee of this position is responsible for carrying out the following duties and responsibilities

   

Key responsibilities of Network Officer - Kabul:

• Secure LAN with Cisco ASA, IPS, IDS, Sophos and Sonic Wall firewall
• Maintain, troubleshoot and install Linux base systems
• Implement failover and load balance via Cisco devices for reliability of internet
• Install internet connection and configuring routers/Layer 3 switches to use variety services
• Implementation of Network monitoring system using NTOP, Solar wind NPM, and Nagios
• Maintain and troubleshoots LAN, MAN, DMZ and WAN
• Build full disaster recovery site and offside backup
• Establish and maintain VPN (IPsec, SSL and DMVPN) through Cisco devices (ASA, Router and Cisco VPN boxes, Sophos VPN)
• Install and Implement wireless network by Cisco/other Access Points devices
• Implementation of CISCO ASA firewall and IPSEC with CISCO ASA Implemented layer 2 and 3 security
• Maintain data integrity through backups, regular test restores, and off-site storage of backup media
• Knowledge of Servers 2012 (Domain controller, DHCP, DNS, Mail server, Data server and Backup server, Print Server, WDS Server and WSUS)
• Generate monthly, weekly and daily reports up on requests
• Travelling to DABS remote office for troubleshooting and other task assign by supervisor
• Prepare monthly, weekly and daily report of entire network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot system problems related to Network Printers, Photocopiers, Microsoft outlook, Digital sender and Microsoft operating System

Job Requirment

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science
• Three years of experience in Network Administration
• Strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to solve problems and to multi-task.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong in both written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and exercise discretion.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Preferred to CCNA, CCNP valid certifications.
