ORCD
Established in 2011, ORCD is an Afghan national organization registered with the Ministry of Economy. ORCD’s efforts are guided by its mission “Using evidence-based best practice approach, empower communities to set and achieve their own development goals”. ORCD is the first Afghan NGO representing civil societies in the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)of the United Nations. Such a status had never been granted to any Afghan NGO ever before in the history of Afghanistan.
Job Summary
- She Conduct anthropometric Measurement (Weight, Height and age) MUAC and Check edema of all under five children.
- She Classification of all under five children in categories of well nourished, Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) and Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM).
- Coordinator with the community elders, CHWs and Volunteer for the defaulter tracing and case detection.
Key responsibilities of Nutrition Screener:
- Proper follow up the absent cases to avoid being defaulted.
- Follow up of referral cases with related HFS.
- Follow up of detected cases in the next visit from the same site
Job Requirment
- Having at least 12th grade certificate.
- Sensitive to Public Health issues.
- Having at least 2 years of work experience relevant to the position
- Willing to go repeatedly to field.
- Good communication Skill.
