Job Summary
The Incident Management Assistant support Counter Fraud Team in conducting investigations, maintaining the records in Datix and at the CO level (share point and offline), conducting trainings, visits of offices where SCI and contracted partners are working and implementing projects. He/she will also support in providing capacity-building training to staff and partners on issues related to counter-fraud management. The role holder will work under the guidance of the Counter Fraud Officer and will coordinate with the CF Coordinator and/or Head of SG and CF.
Key responsibilities of Save the Children Jobs In Kabul (Incident Management Assistant):
- Report all potential cases in Datix in a timely manner.
- Manage the Datix and in-country database of investigations and recommendations.
- Support/Assist the CF team in communication with the various stakeholders by providing various pieces of information and/or analysis.
- Closely coordinate with the provincial focal point to improve CF practices.
- Support in delivering mandatory and refresher training.
- Contribute/support investigations and conduct visits to the project sites/offices of SCI and/or partners.
- Participate in interviews and document reviews and produced the necessary working papers/notes/reports per applicable standards.
- Conduct Counter Fraud orientation to newly hired staff.
- Raise awareness on Counter Fraud policies, procedures and best practices.
- Update local CF reporting and follow-up tracker regularly.
- High levels of professional behaviour and maintain the standards required by the CF Policy and Code of Conduct.

Job Requirment
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Has at least 1-2 years relevant experience (audit/risk/investigation/quality) applicable to the role with knowledge of common analytical tools.
- Strong analytical skills to be able to identify fraud risk areas in complex operational environments from both structured (financial systems) and unstructured data (conversations, investigation reports, complaints etc.);
- Demonstrable understanding of the importance of counter-fraud activities and mechanisms for reducing fraud;
- Good investigative ability.
- Aware of current best practices in investigation techniques
- Good communicator and facilitator, able to clearly and confidently articulate and present findings with impact;
- Good negotiating skills, showing ability to work collaboratively and with peers from different departments;
- Developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
- Commitment to Save the Children values; and
- Membership of a professional anti-fraud body and/or professional data analytics certification.
- Proficiency in one of SCI’s languages
- Knowledge of SCI systems including Agresso, TIM, ER/CAM, PPM Prime, Datix etc.
