Green Afghanistan Agriculture and Livestock Organization (GAALO) is a non-government, non-political and non-profit organization. The organization is established in 2006 and registered with ministry of economy since 2009.
GAALO is committed to identify new and innovative approaches to meet the needs of its target groups. Job Summary
- This position will be responsible for providing technical support. As it is a troubleshooting support, so its scope of work will be to support all the departments of the ministry and zones, The incumbent shall perform under the direct supervision of Project Manager and work in close collaboration with the project team.
- His/her specific responsibilities are as below:
- Conduct staff training on computer basics, MS Office applications and basic networking
- Assist -as needed- with developing databases or other Microsoft application for program and operation staff
- Responsible use and confidentiality of any information identified as sensitive
- Oversee, repair of computer hardware and software, facilitate and advise on best, safest and most economic
The Scope/ ICT Officer - Khawst will have responsibilities that include:
- Target, analyse and document beneficiaries.
- Responsible to diagnose and repair hardware problems, set up, configure and test equipment’s.
- Responsible to install, configure, and maintain a variety of computer equipment including.
- Perform beneficiary’s registration and verification.
- Responsible to perform preventative maintenance on workstations to ensure systems are performing at an optimum level; will assist in some server maintenance.
- Responsible for SCOPE cards management printing and distribution.
- Responsible to make. sure, avoid duplicity of beneficiaries.
- Perform data collection on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
- Conduct data analysis of the beneficiary HHs.
- Check data quality with relevant staff
- Undertake field missions and duty travels as required.
- Identify areas where technical support to project is required.
- Ensure virus-free information and IT File Server in the office
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor/team lead.
