WOMEN ACTIVITIES & SOCIAL SERVICE ASSOCIATION (WASSA)
Since its founding in 2002 as the NGO for the People of Afghanistan, WASSA has provided the community with creative social, legal, and development aid. Since its founding, WASSA has addressed community needs for people who wished to assist by utilizing local resources and community support.
Their requirements are complex. Their demands as daughters, wives, and moms go beyond their immediate surroundings. Their marginal circumstances necessitate compromising with the powerful in order to overcome the current obstacles to their empowerment.
To put it succinctly, the obstacles and impediments that Afghan women face make them the problem rather than the women themselves. These barriers still need to be acknowledged, changed, or eliminated. We (the specialists and NGOs) may collaborate with Afghan women in this area.
