Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political NGO established in 1990. The head office of the organization is located in Kabul, Afghanistan, and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of Livelihood, Good Governance, WASH, and Emergency through its four regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and the central zone in a decentralized manner In 1990 NPO was officially recognized as non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization and registered with Pakistan authorities as an independent NGO. At this stage the position of Norwegian Embassy also changed from supervisory to an advisory role including provision of capacity building at individual and organizational levels. Beside continuation of financial support from Norwegian embassy NPO was able to raise fund from other international organizations like UNHCR, NRC/NCA and CWS. In 1993 the organization decided to shift parts of its activities inside Afghanistan by establishing four regional offices in the north, south, east and west of the country, while the head office of the organization was in Pakistan. In order to take active part in rehabilitation and reconstruction of the country the organization was involved in implementation of projects and program in health, agriculture, income generation, construction or rehabilitation of roads, construction and rehabilitation of irrigation structures and provision of safe and clean drinking water.

Job Summary

       STOCK CONTROL AND TRACKING

1. A stock card exists for all items and is updated systematically and immediately for every entry and exit of the item.

        2.Theoretical inventory is updated immediately and reported monthly.

        3.Physical inventory (stock take) should be realized every three months.

         4.STORAGE

   1. Stocks should be well-ventilated and kept at the correct temperature and humidity.
   2. Items should be stacked in an organized manner, following the guidelines.
   3. Stocks should be organized logically and neatly.
   4. Ensures that the warehouse facilities are supplied with related equipment and consumables (stock cards, cardboard boxes, adhesive tape, ladders, trolleys etc.)

             5.RECEPTION AND DISPATCH

   1. Receive supplies and check the reception documents, quantities, and quality before writing comments, dating, and signing.
   2. Report any discrepancies (document, quantity, and quality) immediately.
   3. Receive written demand for dispatch from the appropriate persons.
   4. Prepares outgoing goods in accord with the demand: packaging and instructions.
   5. Supervise handling staff (daily workers) when required.

           6, SECURITY

The Storekeeper/ Subject to Donor Approval will have responsibilities that include:

      1.Stocks should be kept secure with adequate locks.

      2.Access should be restricted only to the allowed persons.

       3. ADDITIONAL TASKS

1. The storekeeper should be fit and healthy and capable of physical work.
2. On request perform any other additional duties given by the immediate supervisor in order to allow the organization to function optimally
3. Updating of stock cards, monthly theoretical inventory, and tri-monthly stock take.
4. Immediately report any missing materials, suspicious or otherwise to the Project Manager.
5. Any additional tasks assigned by Project Manager

Job Requirment

• High school degree
• Experience:
• 2 years of relevant experience of working
• Relevant work experience in Emergency Programs would be a plus.
•  Preferred Requriment:
• • To be a local resident of Koshk Robat Sanig District is a plus.
