Key responsibilities of Translator (Pashto):
- Document Translation: Accurately translate all bank-related documentation from English into Dari and Pashto, maintaining high professional standards.
- Government Correspondence: Translate official government communications between Pashto, Dari, and English in all required directions.
- Policy & Operational Material Translation: Translate institutional policies, standard operating procedures, manuals, guidelines, circulars, instructions, and practical operational materials.
- Official Drafting: Draft formal correspondence and official bank communications clearly and accurately.
- Grammatical Review & Proofreading: Conduct thorough grammatical and stylistic reviews on organizational documents to ensure precision and clarity.
- Reports & Strategic Documentation: Review and translate analytical reports, performance summaries, and strategic planning papers.
- Additional Duties: Perform other job-related operational tasks as directed by bank management.
Job Requirment
- Education: Bachelorās degree in Literature or Linguistics from a recognized university.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional translation experience.
- Specialized Domain Knowledge: Direct experience in translating banking, financial, legal, and regulatory content.
- Track Record Advantage: Demonstrated experience in translating policies, procedures, manuals, and official organizational documents is considered a strong advantage.
- Language Proficiency: High fluency and operational proficiency in Pashto, Dari, and English.
- Technical & Software Skills: Proficient in using standard computer packages and translation software or computer-assisted tools.
- Personal & Professional Attributes: Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and high accuracy under tight operational deadlines.
